Warding off the Winter Chill with Domaine de Canton

When we think of Domaine de Canton Ginger Liqueur, we think of Asian inspired cocktails with pear, sake and shochu. Delicious, right? When we happened upon a recipe involving Canton that could be mulled with a little hot cider and rum, we might have been skeptical but we got the saucepan out and started pouring.

All jokes aside, this ranks right up there with our warm weather favorite, Spanish Coffee. In fact, this might have dethroned our beloved flaming cocktail. So if you happen to find yourself with a bottle of Domaine floating around your home bar, flip on the burner (carefully) and get to work:

Autumn Spice

2 oz Domaine de Canton Ginger Liqueur
1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
2 oz apple cider
1 oz rum (we used Ron Matusalem Gran Reserva)

Stir together in a saucepan with cinnamon stick until hot.
